Malgorzata “Gosia” Matowska is an Associate at Blue Star Strategies SAS, serving clients in Brussels, Belgium. She has extensive knowledge of the European Union policy landscape from her experience working at the European Commission in the EU Citizenship Rights Unit (DG JUST). She is also deeply versed in the EU research field from her previous position as a Scientific Officer at the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA) in the Social Sciences and Humanities unit.

Previously, Malgorzata worked at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France, where she gained significant insight into the fields of law and administration. At the Chamber, she assisted in handling client cases on a daily basis and in the drafting of legal communications.

Malgorzata graduated from the Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po) of Lille, France with a Master’s degree in International and European Careers, specializing in Conflict and Development. Her research focused on EU Member States’ cooperation on migration issues, particularly related to refugees’ and asylum seekers’ treatment. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, specializing in EU Administration at the Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun, Poland.

Born and raised in Poland, Malgorzata speaks English, French, and Polish. She is a yoga lover and a coffee addict.
