Étienne Bodard is Co-Founder and Partner at Blue Star Strategies SAS, serving clients in Paris, France and Brussels, Belgium. With 10 years' experience in French and EU Public Affairs, Étienne advises corporate clients (from small business enterprises to major corporations) to articulate successful institutional strategies achieving their business goals.

He has extensive knowledge with French and EU decision-making systems and experience in high-level stakeholder management, focusing on setting up positive and sustainable framework for the development of companies or organizations in diverse sectors, with a focus on energy and transport.

Étienne served from 2011 to 2017 as a deputy director of a European public affairs firm, providing clients with creative recommendations in Paris and Brussels. Previously, he worked as public affairs officer at Alstom, advocating for open and reciprocal access to international public procurement markets. Under the 6th European Parliament, Étienne was appointed assistant of Catherine Trautmann, Member of the European Parliament and former Mayor of Strasbourg, France.

Deeply passionate about politics, Étienne spent a year in the United States, working on the 2008 Obama presidential primary campaign in several states (VA, OH, NC, SC), in addition to his paralegal position at the LeClairRyan law firm headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.
