Stephany Vargas is a Consultant at Blue Star Strategies SAS, serving clients in Paris, France, and Brussels, Belgium across various industries including health, green transition, and transportation. She is also dedicated to our pro-bono missions, supporting the public affairs activities of a national association that works to prevent over-indebtedness among vulnerable populations.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephany worked at a public affairs and strategic communications agency in Brussels. As a consultant, she helped clients to unravel the European political system; to fine tune strategies, and to translate these into effective messages. She has also worked at the global public affairs department of a French pharmaceutical company, supporting the team to determine public affairs strategies and its implementation at the Member States level. Stephany began her professional career at the City Hall of Quito, her hometown, where she gained insights into the decisional process behind public policymaking by dealing with issues related to social housing and public transportation.

Stephany has a double academic background. She pursued an M.A. in International Economics and Politics at Charles University in Prague and in SciencesPo Paris, which was then complemented by an M.A. in International Business Management at Sorbonne University in Paris.
In her free time, she enjoys reading (especially thrillers and political fiction novels), discovering coffee places everywhere she goes, and going on long walks with her dog Rémi.
